Why Mirigi
Most condominium software falls into one of two groups. Building apps give residents forms and menus, and every request still ends up with someone at the front desk. AI chatbots answer questions nicely, but they rarely book, order or schedule anything. Mirigi was built to close that gap: residents ask for something in plain words and it gets done, and the staff run the building from the same system.
This page explains where Mirigi is different, and the questions worth asking any vendor before you choose.
Mirigi compared with the usual alternatives
| Mirigi | Typical building app | General AI chatbot | |
|---|---|---|---|
| A resident asks for something | Miri completes it: places the order, calls the car, books the amenity, opens the request | The resident fills in a form or calls the front desk | Answers the question, then hands off to a person or a form |
| Where residents reach it | Branded app, in-unit touch panel, web and WhatsApp | Usually an app only | A chat window |
| Staff side | One live console for front desk, concierge, valet, security, maintenance, restaurant and management | Often a back-office panel added to a resident app | Usually none |
| AI for the staff | Miri also helps staff triage, prioritize and assign work orders | Rare | Rare |
| Languages | Each resident picks a language, and building messages are translated for them | Often one language per building | Varies |
| Branding | The building’s own name and look, published as its own app | Usually the vendor’s brand | The vendor’s brand |
| Building systems | Smart-home controls, building automation, cameras and the administrator’s accounting in the same app | Usually separate apps | None |
What makes the difference
An assistant that acts. Miri is connected to restaurant ordering, valet, amenity reservations, service requests, visitor authorizations and event sign-ups. When a resident says “bring my car up in ten minutes”, the request goes straight into the valet queue, and the resident gets a confirmation. Staff keep full control over how each request is handled.
Built from the front desk out. The staff console grew out of twenty years of running luxury residential buildings. Deliveries, the valet queue, expected guests and open requests appear on one screen and update the moment anything changes. Each person sees the work for their role, and there is a record of who did what.
Made for the building, not the vendor. Residents see their building’s name and design, not ours. Each property decides which modules it uses, and new ones can be built for its own way of working.
Proven in real buildings. Mirigi runs today in luxury residences in Miami, Sunny Isles Beach, Punta del Este and Montevideo, including Jade Beach, Asia, Signature at the Sea, Torre One, Loma Verde and Joy. Read what they say.
When Mirigi fits best
- Full-service buildings with a front desk, valet, amenities and an on-site team.
- Properties where the resident experience is part of the brand, and boards that want one system instead of several apps.
- Buildings with residents who speak different languages.
If your building only needs a package locker or a simple bulletin board, a lighter tool may be enough.
Questions to ask any vendor
- When a resident asks the AI for something, does the request actually get done, or does the AI only reply?
- Do the front desk, valet and maintenance teams work in the same system residents use?
- Can each resident use the app in their own language?
- Will the app carry the building’s name and brand?
- Can it connect to the building’s smart-home controls, cameras and accounting?
- Which buildings like ours use it today, and can we talk to them?
