Visitor Authorization
Every great arrival begins before the doorbell rings. Mirigi’s Visitor Authorization turns the lobby into a seamless extension of each residence, where expected guests are welcomed by name and unexpected ones are handled with poise. Residents pre-register family, friends, service providers and clients from the app — or simply ask Miri in plain language — and the front desk sees exactly who is allowed in, when, and on whose behalf. The result is a quieter entrance, a calmer staff, and a building that feels effortlessly private.
Authorizations adapt to real life. A guest can be cleared always, never, or within a precise time window, with one-off, weekly or monthly recurrences bounded by start and end dates. Residents register a visitor’s name, identification, phone and email, with duplicate IDs detected per unit to prevent double entries. Recurring guests — a weekend sibling, a Tuesday housekeeper, a regular client — are set up once and remembered. With Miri, a sentence like “my cousin is coming for dinner on Friday” is enough; the AI concierge captures the details, time window and recurrence, and files the authorization automatically.
For arrivals by car, the visitor valet registers the guest vehicle under a ticket number and sends an SMS, or offers a QR code, with a link to request the car back. No app, no account, no password — the valet is notified the instant the visitor is ready to leave.
Staff gain an equally refined toolset. The authorized list is searchable by name, identification or unit, and walk-ins can be registered on the spot. Every check-in and check-out is logged against the guest and the staff member who cleared it, producing an auditable arrivals history that residents and administrators can review at any time. Rules are evaluated in real time against the building’s local timezone, so the lobby always knows precisely who belongs inside.
