Expenses Integration
Mirigi turns the monthly expense bill into a living, transactional experience. Residents check their balance, review every movement, and pay online from the same app they already use for reservations, visitors, and service requests. Every charge generated inside Mirigi — amenity fees, paid services, on-demand requests — flows back into the building’s accounting platform automatically, eliminating duplicate entry and accelerating month-end. The result is paperless billing, faster collections, and a single, premium resident experience.
For each unit, residents see the outstanding amount owed, the next due date, and the currency of the balance, with native support for dual-currency buildings where some charges are billed locally and others in US dollars. A complete movements ledger lists every debit and credit with date, description, and amount, and — when the administrator publishes it — a direct link to the original expense bill PDF. Access is role-aware: a single unit may have an owner, a tenant, and other related parties, and Mirigi respects the accounting roles defined by the administrator, showing each user only what they are entitled to see.
Payment happens in the same screen. Residents launch a secure transaction through the methods enabled by the administrator — multiple banks are supported — and Mirigi tracks it end to end, updating the resident in real time from pending to success or fail via live push notifications. A proof-of-payment email is delivered to the unit’s registered address (or to the administrator if none is on file), and a commission notice is shown before checkout so residents know exactly what the provider will charge. Reservations of paid amenities such as the barbecue area or the gym file their usage fee against the correct unit and role without staff intervention; a scheduled job re-sends any fee that the accounting platform rejected, and recurring errors are escalated to support so no consumption falls through the cracks.
Underneath, the accounting layer is a pluggable architecture: new administrator platforms onboard through cryptographically signed integrations, and custom connectors to a building’s existing system are available on request.
